' ' The American colony in London travelled down in great force io Sunningdale Church, Ascot, yesterday, to be present at the wedding of Mr. A. J. Mounteney-Jephson to Miss Anna Head, onTy child of the late Addison E. and Mrs.-Head, of San Francisco. Mr. Choate, the United States Ambassador, signed the register. The presents were very numerous, and included a handsome silver cup fi^jm the late Sir Henry Stanley, under whom Mr. Mounteney-Jephson served in the Emin Pasha Relief Expedition.
