Sherry Hubbard, Derek HoseOLDTOWN — Sherry Lynn Hubbard and Derek Jonah Hose were united in marriage during a double ring ceremony at the Old-town Bethel Assembly of God. The Rev. Richard E. Wilson was the officiating clergyman. Organist was Gail Ritchie and vocalist was Missy DeShong.The bride is the daughter of Susan Lynn Burgess, Union-bridge. Mr. Hose is the son of Ned and Kathleen Hose, Oldtown.Given in marriage by her grandfather, Robert C. Petersen, the bride wore a full length ivory satin gown with short Venise lace sleeves, with a sweetheart neckline that had Venise lace and seed pearls. The lace applique was repeated on the train and around the bottom of the dress. Her headband style headpiece was adorned with ivory pearls. A hand bouquet of white, teal and peach carnations with white seed pearls and white satin ribbon.Serving as matron of honor was Alesia Hose, Oldtown, sister-in-law of the bridegroom. Bridesmaids were Sharon Hose, Shaw, S.C., sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Laura Hose, Flintstone, cousin of the bridegroom; and Shay Kinser, Oldtown. Flower girl was Megan Walbert.Acting as best man was Ned Hose, Oldtown, brother of the bridegroom. Ushers were Michael Hose, Shaw, brother of the bridegroom; and Joe Blanco, Alexandria, Va., and Ron Hose, Flintstone, cousins of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Cameron Hose, Oldtown, nephew of the bridegroom.A reception was held at the Oldtown Volunteer Fire Department. Shelby Gable made the cake and catered the reception. The cake was four-tiered with a peach lighted fountain. Steve Ken1 videotaped and photographed the occasion. Centerpieces for the tables were glass votives with teal satin ribbon and white lace roses with floating candles and was made by the bridegroom’s mother. Chester Burgess, brother of the |-bride, and Ticia Cotrill registered cthe guests.For a trip to Wisp Ski Resort, the bride wore a plaid vest with a t black top and matching skirt.
