Poison-Johnson united in double-ring ceremonyMiss Annette Poison and Robert Lee Johnson Jr. were united in marriage in a doublering ceremony at 8 p.m. in the First Congregational United Church of Christ. The Rev. Loren Hickerson performed the ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Pr. and Mrs. Robert Poison of 2001 Lincoln. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson Sr. of 2820 16th.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of chiffon over bridal taffeta fashioned with bishop sleeves and a three-tiered skirt. Her three-tiered chapel-length veil of illusion was held by an embroidered English net lace Camelot cap. She carried a trailing cascade of yellow roses, multi-colored daisies and gypsophilia.Mrs. Perry Schuetz attended her sister as matron of honor and Mrs. David Poison, sister-in-law of the bride, Mrs. Randy Smith and Mrs. Gary Dobbs acted as bridesmaids. They wore green and yellow floral print dresses and carried multicolored daisies.Mark Shaw acted as best man and George Morrison Jr., Jeff • Yeager and John Weide served as groomsmen. Mr. Bill Comfort, David Poison, Jeff Yeager and Dennis Habiger were ushers for the ceremony, - Jennifer Jensen was flower girl and MiKe Folkerts was ringbearer. Miss Robin Hayes and Miss Kim Johnson served as taper lighters. Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Jimmie Downing, organist, and Miss Donna Blakely and Mac Reed, vocalists.Hie bride graduated from FHKSC with a BS degree in elementary education. The bridegroom is attending FHKSC and is employed by K-G Men's Store.The couple will reside in Hays.
