M., when Miss Dorothea Schafei , and Mr. M. Francis McFadden of Cornwells Heights were united In marriage.Miss Schafer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Schafer of 536 Swam Street, is a prominent member of our younger set. The bride was dreseed in white canton crepe and wore a whtle picture hat trimmed with large white lillies, white slip pers and stockings, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and Lillies of the Valley.The bride was attended by Miss Theadora Slattery of Trenton. N. J . and the groom by his brother, Mr. James McFadden of Philadelphia, Pa. Miss Slattery wore an apricot colored canton crepe gown and large black hat, black slippers and stockings. She carried yellow lea Boses tied with chiffon of apricot color. »As the wedding party entered the church. Miss Catherine Keating who presided at the organ played the Wlt; (Ming Man h from U»hlt; ngiin and snatches of “Oh Promise Me” and ‘‘A Perfect Day.After the ceremony the party pro cceded to the home of the bride’s parents on Swain Street, where covers were laid for thirty guests at a very pretty wedding dinner. The bride and groom left late in the evening for Delaware Water Gap where they- will honeymoon.The bride who is the daughter of our well known photographer, was born in Bristol and h;|Ji spent all her life here. Hhe hits been employed at the office* of George K. Watson and Co.. of Philadelphia.Mr. McFadden is employed by the well-known firm of West k Co.. brokers of Philadelphia, where he holds a responsible positionThe bride’s gift to the bridesmaid was a beautiful filigree bar pin set with an amythlst. The groom’s gift to the best man was a fine white gold pen. knife.At the completion of their honeymoon. this happy couple will make their home for the time bring with the bride's parents.
