The bride looked lovely, dressed in cream colored nun's veiling trimmed in pearl passementerie, and the groom handsome in the conventional black.At high noon the beautiful strains of “Wedding Bells March” were Bweetly played by Miss Laura Conklin. The words which united the couple for life were spoken by Rev. U. G. Humphrey, of Jamestown, and, after congratulations, they led the way to a sumptuous dinner.The parties from a distance in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. M. II. Lamb, Chillicothe, O ; Mrs. Dr. Creighton, Cincinnati, ().; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Crumley and Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Shepherd, Wilmington, O.; Mrs. Harriet Furgerson and daughter, Dayton, O.The bride was the recipient of many beautiful and useful presents. They will be “at home” to their many friends after Jane 14tb, in their new home three miles west of Lumberton, and the good wishes of the entire community accompany them.
