Miss Linda Sue Boone, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Boone of Abbs Valley, Va., will become the bride of Bruce Wayne Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Thompson of Brushfork on Friday, June 12, at 7 p.m. in the Boissevain, Va., Baptist Church, Dr. Ted R. Cook will officiate for the open church, informal wedding serv ice. There will be a small family reception following the cere mony, to be held in the Boone home in Abbs Valley. Wedding vocalist will be Don na Collins. Miss Boone's father will give her in marriage. Mrs. James Dixon will be matron of honor; bridesmaids will be Kaye Boone, her sister, and Brenda Thomp son, his sister; flower girl will be Deede Nichols. Best man will be Randall Compton, his brother-in-law; ush ers will be Michael Boone, her brothers, and Johnny Davidson.
