Zahn in a recent double ringceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Buchmeier, Western avenue, Crete. Mr. Zahn is the son of Mr. and Mrs.' Harold Zahn, 358 Minocqua, Park Forest.The Rev. A. W. Klumb performed the ceremony in St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Monee. Mrs. Dorothy Radtke of Peotone sang “The Wedding Prayer” and “O Perfect Love,” accompanied by Mrs. Ellen Herrmann of Crete.GIVEN in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor-iength gown of Chantilly lace, fashioned with a scalloped neck and hemline, trimmed in sequins. Scalloped ruffles accented the back of her dress to meet the chapel-length train. A threetiered veil fell from a petal headpiece sprinkled with sequins and crystals. The bride carried a cascade of miniature white carnations and pink roses.Mrs. Barbara Greig of Steger was the matron of honor, and Mrs. Jeanette Amstien, Miss Unda Buchmeier, and Mrs. Virginia Wilson, all of Crete and sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids. Forming a rainbow of color, Mrs. Greig wore pink; Mrs. Amstien, yellow; Miss Buchmeier, apricot, and Mrs. Wilson, aqua,Their gowns were styled with white lace bodices, ruffles around the high necklines, longsleeves and empire waistlines.Avocado green satin ribbon trimmed the waistlines above the linen skirts. They wore picture hats of white, trimmed with avocado green ribbon, and white shoes. They carried white baskets filled with white mums and daisies which were tinted to match their dresses.GARY ZAHN of Park Forest served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were I^arry Buchmeier of Crete, brother of the bride; Richard Wilhlern of Highland, Ind. and Larry Hardy of Hammond, Ind.
