George E, Fuller officiating at the 10:30 o'clock nupital mass. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Massey, Sorerito, and the groom’s parents are Mr., and Mrs. Edward Garde, Edwardsville Route 3, who gave a breakfast ijtn-~ mediately after the ceremony at their home, An evening reception, attended by approximately 150 guests, was held at St, Cecilia’s hall-in Glen Carbon.Music for the nuptials was played by a Sister of St, ' Boniface church and the Junior choir sang.The bride’s fioor-iength gown of aleneon lace over satin was de-ael Garde,. as 'best man and groomsman was Robert. -Scherff;-Alvin. Frisse. and George Garde seated'the guests,. Ring-bearer-was Dennis:-Garde, the groom's brother.■ For her daughter's - wedding, .Mrs, Massey selected a gray lace: over Rink taffeta dress'. complemented by pink-accessories. -..Mrs, Garde , wore a- blue lace ensemble, and white accessories. Both mothers had mum .corsages, . ~Upon their return from a honeymoon to New Mexico, the .couple will- make their home at 325 Broad--view. Mr, and Mrs; Garde are both' graduates of. Mr, 'Massey presented his daughter in marriage. ■ Miss Rose Mar-ie Roner, the maid of honor, wore an orchid tulle floor-length gown and carried green and white mums, while the brides'mnid, Miss Joan Garde, .sister,of. the groom, selected a blue frock identical in design to-the honor attendant. Her flowers .were' pink and white mums.
