* •* rA kitchen shower* honoring Miss Maryann Galbreth, bride-elect of Walter J. Moss, was given by Mrs. J. Everett Fisher and Mrs. Mylesi .A Adams recently at the Rose room of the Kokomo YWCA. 'Miss Galbreth is the daughter ol Mr.' and Mrs. Raymond D. Galbreth, city, and her fiance isthe son of Mr. and Mrs. John-J, Clawson, of Kokomo, and the late Paul R. Moss. The couple will be married Wednesday morning, June 13, at 9 o’clock at St. Joseph’s church in this city.' Miss Galbreth received her gifts ai: a table decorated with a white lattice; archway entwined : with' greenery and garden flowers. A white wedding bell was attached to -the arch-ahd yases of white peonies enhanced the tables.Contests were-enjoyed with prizes going to Mrs. Clayton Farrei and Miss Betty Edgell, both of,Kokomo. Refreshments in the bride-eicct's chosen colors of pink and blue were served. Favors were plastic parasol nulcups’in'the two colors.Invited guests included Mrs. G'al-breth and Mrs. Clawson, mothers of the couple. In addition to'those attending from Kokomo, guests from Logansport were Mrs, Sullivan \fesh, Mrs, Harry Foereh and Mary Margaret, Mrs. Ralph Green, Mrs. Genevieve Moore and Mrs. William Binder. Also the Misses Fanny Pownell, Sonnie Steinwedel, Susie'Binder, 'Shirley Hathaway and Janet Jones. Guests were also present from Rossville, Walton and Galveston.
