Miss Beatrice Carter Aiken, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Carter of Woodland, will become the bride of Harold Hodge of Berkeley at a pretty wedding at the Little Chapel of Flowers in Berkeley Saturday evening at 8:30 o’clock. Rev. W. CJ. Fletcher, pastor of the Christian church, will officiate. Following the ceremony there will be a reception at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr.and Mrs. A. J. Aiken.The bride will wear an eggshell satin dress made with the new Princess silhouette and trimmed in lace, which was worn by her mother on her wedding dress. Her veil will be of tulle fastened with orange blossoms and she will carry a shower bouquet of gardenias and lilies-of-the-valley. Her attendants, Miss Lu-cile Koenig of San Francisco and Miss Dorothy Folger of Oakland, will wear printed chiffon dresses, and carry lace hats filled with flowers.I*onard Crutcher will be best man and Howard Folger and Clifford Oliver will be the ushers.Following a honeymoon trip north the couple will live in Berkeley.Miss Aiken is well known here, wharf she often visits her grandparents. She is the only daughter of Mr* «nd Mrs. A. J. Aiken, and is a grrtdnate* of the Oakland Technical high school.Hodge is the son of Mrs. Georgia Hodge. He is employed by the Southern Pacific company.Mr. and Mrs. 1). L. Carter and Mrs. John Beach of Woodland attended the wedding, They were accompanied by Mrs. Joseph Beach and II. W.
