Mr.Miss Lovelace weds Windy Cole May 11Marianna Missionary BaptistChurch was the setting May 11 whenJulie Ann Lovelace and Everett‘Windy” Windfield Cole exchanged wedding vows.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Ixwelace and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cole, all of Marianna.The Rev. Doyle Eakin of Forrest City officiated at the 6 p.m. ceremony before a background centered with a 15-branch candelabra flanked by 7-branch candelabras. Pink and blue ribbonsmarked the pews where the mothers sat.Mrs. Doyle Eakin of Forrest City provided nuptial music at the organ and Mrs. Carla Davis of Marianna, aunt of the bride, vocalist, sang ‘‘Up where we belong” and “Just you and I”.Candle lighters and ushers were Chris Sullivan, cousin of the bride, and Tracy Cole, brother of thegroom.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length white lace gown featuring a layered skirt, high neckline and lace sleeves. A floor length organza and white lace veil of illusion was attached to a large white picture hat. Her bridal bouquet was pink, blue and white roses with baby’s breath, tied with white lace and pink, blue and white ribbons.Miss Jennifer Lovelace, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a floor length pink, blue and white gown, fashioned with an off-shoulder bodice. Chi her head was a large picturesque white hat and she carried two white roses entwined with baby’s breath and tied with blue and pink ribbons.Little Miss Mandy Davis of Marianna, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.The groom’s father served him as best man.The mother of the bride wore a navy street length dress featuring gray lace and stripes. Her corsage was of white carnations.The groom’s mother chose a turquoise street length dress with a jacket and white accessories. Hercorsage was also white carnations.RECEPTIONA reception was held in Fellowship Hall of the church following the wedding. A white lace cloth draped the serving table where a four-tiered cake adorned with pink rosebuds, vines and blue forget-me-nots added a pretty touch.Mrs. Virginia Lovelace of Marianna served the cake and Mrs. Debbie Johnson of Brinkley ladled the punch. Mrs. Audrey Mooneyhan of Marianna served the groom’s cake. All are aunts of the bride.Glenda Blair was in charge of the guest book and Stephanie Johnson and Jessica Dilks, nieces of thebride, distributed rice bags to the guests.The couple live in Marion where the groom is employed at January Vending Co.Msf2 OF TOWN GUESTS OUt of town guests attending the wedding and reception were: Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jackson of Forrest City; Joyce Moody, Doris Moseley, Michele Davenport, Ford Greer, all of West Helena; Goldie Shephard and Amy Cooper of Holly Grove; Pam O’Brien and Vanessa of Alamogordo, N. Mex.; Mr. and Mrs.AJ Underwood of West Memphis; Lorene Cole of Marion; Mr. and Mrs. Gene McMahan of Tunica, Miss.; and Hicky Harding of Clarksdale, Miss.REHEARSAL DINNERFellowship Hall of Missionary Baptist Church was the setting for the rehearsal dinner on May 8. It was hosted by the groom-elect s ,parents.Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. (Chuck Cole and son, brother of the ,groom-elect. ‘The menu included barbecue, cole tslaw, potato salad, baked beans, tea fand chocolate cake.
