MISS ROSA ELENA (CHELENA) CALLES COOKCook-Calderon plan July 20 weddingThe engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Rosa Elena (Chelena) Calles Cook to Jesus Juan Calderon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vicente C. Calderon of Eagle Pass, is announced this week by her parents, Ruben Calles of Mexico City and Mrs. Ofelia Cook of Eagle Pass.The bride-elect graduated in 1972 from Eagle Pass HighSchool and is employed at Riskind’s.The prospective bride-groum is a 1970 graduate of Eagle Pass High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in 1974 from Southwest Texas State University with a major in Spanish and minor in history.A July 20 wedding is being planned by the couple to take place in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Maddoz, O.M.I. officiating.
