Early May weddingCunites local couple(Yellow and white were the colors chosen by Miss Linda Ann Osburn to dramatize her May 5 wedding to Mr. Glen Eugene LaVoy. The ceremony was held at the Faith Temple Community Church in Seattle with the Rev. Dennis Finch conducting the ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert K. Osburn of Lynnwood and her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George LaVoy, Jr., of Edmonds.She was given in marriage by her father.For the ceremony the new Mrs. LaVoy chose a gown of white organdy and Venise lace over white satin, made with a bouffant skirt and self-train, and lace bodice. Her chapel-length veil was trimmed in matching lace.Miss Candy Moore, as maid of honor was gowned in a frock of yellow chiffon, cut empire style with long sleeves and accented in white lace at the bodice and elbow. She carried a May basket of yellow chrysanthemums and white carnations with yellow ribbons. The bridesmaids, Charlene Osburn, cousin of the bride, Cheri Osburn, sister-in-law of the bride,Debbie LaVoy and Sue Donaldson, sisters of the bridegroom, were gowned in similar fashion.Mr. Eric Mickelson was the best man with Bob and Bill Osburn, brothers of the bride, Gary LaVoy, brother of the bridegroom and the bridegroom’s brother-in-law Bob Donaldson as ushers.Following the wedding a reception for the couple was held in the church’s Fireside room with Mrs. Mary Brown and Mrs. Idabell Osburn, the bride’s aunts; Mrs. NancyOsburn and Miss Theresa Brown, her cousins; Mrs. Charlene Varriano, the aunt of the bridegroom, and his cousin Miss Jolene Varriano assisting.The couple will make their home in Lynnwood where Mr. LaVoy is employed, on their return from a wedding trip to Hawaii.Mr. LaVoy is a graduate of Edmonds Senior High School while his bride, also employed in Lynnwood, is a graduate of Meadowdale High School.vIf«tlSsbinFSv•irc,TROPICALFISHLORETO TETRAS . .GOLD BARBS . . .
