Arizona Sunday, June 11. 3041Reception To Fete PairMESA, June 10- Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Miller, whose marriage was an event of March, will be honored at a wedding reception Wednesday evening in the social hall at Mesa Fifth Ward arranged by their parents. Mr. and Mrs Lewis Allen and Mr. and Mrs. J. Edwin Miller, Mesa.The couple, both of whom were seniors at the Mesa Union High School at the time of their wedding, were married March 11 in Florence.At the reception, the bride will wear a floor-length gown of white satin and net and a cordage of gardenias. Her mother. Mrs. Allen, will wear an old rose gown with sequin trim and Mrs. Miller has chosen a blue taffeta frock. Both will have corsages of gardenias.A program will he presented, including a dance number hv Norma Jean Stallings, a reading b\ Mrs. O. N. Vance, vocal solo by Ethel Mae Chesley, and songs bv a quartet composei of Leon Phelps, Dari Anderson, Darwin Gunnell and George Standagc.Mrs. D. A Rust, grandmother of the bride, will he in charge of the refreshment and gift tables. Assisting her will he Mesdames Ola Floggan and Phyllis Allen. Phoenix, Misses Betty Hoggan and Joyce Mitchell. Phoenix, and Mesdames Norman Stapley, Norman Miller. Wendell Miller and Glen Nowell and Misses Janet Miller. Barbara Jean Crandall. Ethel Mae Miller and Norma Lee Nowell. MesaThe refreshments table will he centered by an ice punch howl into w hich flowers have been frozen.Both Mr. and Mrs. Miller werefrominent in activities at Mesa 'nion High School. She was a member of the Boots and Saddles and the Sub deh clubs and was on the staff of the Jackrabbit and Superstition.He was president of the Les Amis Club and was on the Jackrabbit staff and was a member of Boots and Saddles.
