Rudolph Ritz officiating.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Ingels, 2017 N. Jay; Mr. and Mrs. Jack J. Lads, 622 N. Webster, are the parents of the groom.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of peau de soie, with a fitted bodice, bateau necklineand decorations of lace appliques. The sleeves were long, ending in bridal points, and were decorated with bridalbuttons. The A-line skirt was enhanced with lace appliques and pearl trim. Lace also graced her detachable train.A headpiece of lace over satin with seed pearl trim secured her tiered illusion veil. She carried a cascade arrangement of white roses and ivy.Mrs. Edward Hubbard, sister of the bride, was maid of honor; bridesmaid was Miss Sue Nicewanger. They wore floor length gowns of “heavenly blue” organza over taffeta and organza, styled with portrait necklines and short sleeves. Panels, forming trains, flowed from the empire waists. They wore veils, mint-green in color, attached to mint-green silk organza cabbage roses and carried nosegays of white carnations frosted with blue.Edward Hubbard, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man, and Steven Westervelt was groomsman. Ushers wereDennis Barlaw, Ray Chaplin and David Hubbard.The bride’s mother selected a three-piece suit, foam aqua in color, and a corsage of white, baby roses. The groom’s mother chose an aqua linen and lace jacket dress. She also wore a corsage of white, baby roses.The bridal colors of mint green, powder blue and white were used in the decorations at the reception held in thefellowship hall of the church following the ceremony.Miss Patricia Ingels, sister of the bride, Miss Lesley Lads, sister of the groom, Mrs. Jan Plummer, Miss Sharon Thomas, Miss Nancy McKay and Miss Minnie Merrill assistedat the reception.The bride is a graduate of Kokomo High School andattended Ball State University. She is an employe of DelcoRadio Div. The groom is a graduate of Kokomo High Schooland is a senior at Purdue University.
