TheWINNERBUSTEFFECTS 19621traditional wedding marches were used.Miss Sara Harriett Dyches of Aiken was maid of honor, Bridesmaids were Miss Patricia Henson, Miss Beverly Emrich, Miss Catherine Owens, Miss Patricia Crosby, Miss Teiry Giboney and Miss MaryEleanor Glngrey.The attendants wore Pisantiimodels of maize silk, fashioned witha scooped neckline and brief sleeves. The princess bodice was attached to a sheath skirt worn with an overskirt. Tiny tailored bows completed the dresses, with matching bows worn in the hair. They carried yellow and white mums tiedwith yellow ribbon.Little Miss Lynn H. Herndon was flower girl. She wore a white eyelet dress over yellow, fashionedwith a yellow cumberbund and aheadpiece matching those erf the other attendants.Master William T. Hair, II, nephew of the bride was ringbearer.The bride, who entered with her father, was lovely in a pure white dress of French imported lace with an oval neckline finished with standing scallops, and elbow length sleeves. The skirt of dome shape finished in scallops was attached to a fitted bodiee She wore a separatecourt train which swept into a cathedral length and her veil m French illusion cascaded from a Peau'de Soire rose centered with a pearl. Her flowers were a nosegay bonquet of mums centered with awhite orchid.Mr. Porter had as his best manhis father William Howard Porter,Jr., of Wilmington, Del.Groomsmen were Mr. William peeves Montague, Mr. Richard W. Jones of Wilmington, Mr. William Tyler Hair, Mr. Joseph Tracey Hair, Jr., brothers of the bride,Mr. David E. Helton of Columbia,and Mr. Dixon R. Kilbourne ofAiken.The brides’ mother, Mrs. J. T.Hair wore a light blue silk dress with matching accessories and an orchid. Mrs. W. H. Porter, motherof the groom was attired in abeige silk with matching accessories, and wore an orchid corsage.Following the reception in thePine Room at the Commercial Hotel, the couple left for their honeymoon at Pompano Beach, Florida.
