Lewis-Ferketich WeddingVows Read In SacredMiss Phyllis Jean Lewis, daughter of Mrs. Otis Jones of Benton,. and Robert Ferketich, son of Mr.and \Jrs. Mike Ferketich of Zeig-t ler, were married Saturday, Mav 1 \ 2'26, at 10 a. m. in the SacredHeart Catholic Church in Zeigler. The Rev. Louis Fellner read the\ows.The altar was decorated with white gladioli and greenery.The bride was given in marriage bv her brother, John Thomas Leu is.Miss Dorothv Markus was or-ganist, Irene Mrogenski of Ben ton was bridesmaid, and Mrs. Virginia Lance of McLeansboro, ^•sister of the bride, was matron of honor.Steve Lazar of Zeigler, cousin d of the groom, was best man. Joe f Lazar was groomsman, st The bride's gown was of whit ie lace over satin with scoop neck r- line. It was worn with dace jacket featuring three-quarter sleeves. Her e fingertip veil of tulle was caught to a rhinestone studded juliet cap.s.Heart Church, ZeiglerThe bouffant skirt was held wide with a can-can slip.She carried a white orchid nestl- j ed in 12 yellow rosebuds. Casead f ing from the bridal bouquet were white streamers tied with lovers j knots. |Luncheon for 50 was served in -the social room of the church after ^ the ceremonv. UThe bride was graduated in 1952 from Benton High School. She was employed by the General j telephone Co. at Benton.Ferketich is a 1950 Zeigler Com- * munity High School graduate. After attending Southern Illinois University two vears, he entered the U. S. Army in 1953 and was discharged in September, 1955.He plans to attend SIU.
