Jr^of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and Mis-s Ramona Barrett, of Kan- *sas City, Missouri, were united in marriage at the Park Baptist Church in Brookfield on Monday afternoon. June 4. 1961.Rev. Fred H. Farris, pastor of the Park Baptist Church, performed the double ring ceremony.The bnde was given in marria^ by her father. Mr. Gerald Everett Barrett. The attendants were the bride’s father, Mr. C. D. Cassidy, and sister, Mrs. Carl Lewallen.Lieutenant Cassidy is the son lt;rf Mr, and Mrs. Clyde Cassidy, of this city. -Ue is a graduate of the Brookfield High School, class of 1942. and attended Missouri University prior to World War n service, serving overseas in Germany, Belgium and Austria. Following the war he attended Central College at Payette, then became a partner with Lloyd Ellis in a Gamble store here.While^in Brookfield he organised the local Organized Reserve Corps and remained in the active reserves.He was called to duty last October and is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood at present but has been alerted for duty in the oversea* officers pool.The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Everett Barrett, of 3706 Brooklyn Avenue, Kansas Oity, Missouri, graduated fnm Central High School there and after bual-nes training entered the general offices of the Skelly Oil Company there where she is employed as astenographer.Announcement had been mads 11 for the wedding which was to have 11 taken place at the First Baptist Church In Kansas City, but the groom’s call to overseas duty resulted In the weckHng date’s being set up and the cereoKUiy perforn|ed here.Immediately after the certmony, the newlyweds started on a trip tp. the eaat coast.Those In attendance at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Baneti and Mrs. Carl Lewallen, of Kansas City; Mrs. Calvhi WUaoo, Marce-llne; Mrs. Robert Newsom.
