miss Miiarea riyan And Buell Hembree Wed Sunday, June 1Miss Mildred Louise Ryan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ryan and Buell Hembree, son of Mr and Mrs. B. F. Hembree, were married at 5:00 p. m. Sunday, June 1st, at the First Methodist Church with the Reverend Fagan Thompson, the pastor, officiating.The altar was beautifully decorated with ivy background and baskets of whi^e gladioli and calla lil-lies which were interspersed with the cathedral tapers, which lighted the setting.Miss Evelyn June Wamp, attired in shell pink dress, lighted the candies. Mrs. Cecil Workman, soloist, attired in pink crepe, sang “Always” “Because and “Prayer Perfect” to the accompaniment of Mr. Perry Cannon, pianist.Miss Mildred Harkness of Birmingham, maid of honor, wore a pastel pink frock with corsage of gardenias.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a poudre blue dress with draped skirt and sweetheart neckline. Her accessories were of white and she earned a white Bible wdh a spray of orchids.Mr. Dorsey Hembree served his bi other as best man.A reception at the home of the bride’s parents followed the wedding. The bride’s lace-covered table carried the tiered cake, which was decorated with white rosebuds. The centerpiece was ofwhite snapdragons.After a wedding trip to West Virginia and other points East the couple will be at home in Auburn, where the groom is a student.Among the out-of-town guests w^re: Mr. and Mrs. O.
