ENGLISH BRIDE—Word has been received here of the mar riage of Miss Maureen Frances Greenaway, WAAF, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Green away, of Hertford, England, to Cpl. Jerome J.St. Peter, grand son of Mrs. Celina St. Peter, 916 First avenue south. The wedding took place on Dec. 23, at the Church of the Immacu late Conception, St. Joseph, Hert ford, England. The bride wore a gown of white figured satin. Her veil of fine lace was an heirloom which had been in the family for more than a century. She carried a bouquet of white carnations. Her attendants, Miss Jean Mac Gregor, and her cousin, Miss Mary L’Estrange, wore gowns of ice-blue. Cpl. Sam Bomanto of Memphis, Tenn., a friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. A reception was held after the ceremony, and the couple received many gifts, cards and telegrams. Pieces of the wedding cake were mailed to members of the bride groom’s family in the United States. Cpl. St. Peter was graduated from Escanaba high school in 1939. He became a member of the Army Air Force ground crew in 1942 and went to England in September of 1943. He remained in England for 17 months. In March of this year, he was trans ferred to the Infantry, and sent to Germany, where he is stationed at present.
