On Friday afternoon at 4 p. in. Miss Lueretia Baker, daughter of Lloyd Baker, and Grant Stokes, son of Isaiah Stokes, both of Aristes, were united in marriage by Rev. B. F. Goodman, of Esther Furnace. They were attended by Miss Flossie Eveland and Walter Rhodes, of Aristes. The ring ceremony of the U. B. church was used. The bride and bridesmaid were attired in white. Will Rhodes brought the wed-diDg party from Aristes in his auto. They returned immediately after the ceremony to Aristes, where they will make their home.
