Drug CompanyMASS MEETING OF WOMENChapter of Union Label League to BeOrganized Here.In an effort to form a branch of the Womans International Union Label League in Joplin, a meeting for women especially has been called for Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by the Joplin Trades Assembly. The meeting will be held at Vo. 119 West Ninth street.The application for a charter asked by the trades assembly committee, appointed to arouse interest in Joplin in the label league was received yesterday by Charles W. Fear and the matter will be thoroughly gone over and discussed Monday afternoon. Tf formed, the Joplin local should be one of the largest in the district in a short time on account of the number of working women here, it is declared.All women are cordially invited by the committee, composed of C. W, Snyder of the carpenters* union, J. Prothero of the musicians, R. L. Rruff and C. W. Blundell of the painters* union and Charles W Fear from the trades assembly.
