Moomau, Her-shy Hollow Road, were honored recently on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The celebration took place at the Keyser Assembly of God Church and was hosted by the couple’s four children and their spouses: Patricia and Vincent Montana, Frostburg, Md.; Roland and Josephine Moomau, Westernport, Ma.; Charles and Evelyn Moomau, also of Westernport; and Deborah and Edward Whisner, New Creek.The couple was married April 6, 1940, by the Rev. Herman McKay in Winchester, Va. Attendants were Mary Ridings, cousin of Mrs. Moomau, and Betty and Carl Robinette, sister and brother-in-law of Mr. Moomau.Mrs. Moomau is the daughterof the late George and Pear Estep. Mr. Moomau is the soi of the late Roland and Ednlt; Moomau. He is retired fron Westvaco.The couple walked down thlt; aisle to a favorite love son) layed by their niece, Kath; mith. Mr. and Mrs. Moomai renewed their wedding vows Kathy Bray performed a voca selection and the childrei presented a special tribute tlt; their parents, a “This Is You Life” program.Flowers were made anlt; presented as a gift by Mrs Moomau’s sister and husband Eve and Harold Filer.A reception was held in thlt; church social hall with the cou pie’s grandchildren and theii spouses serving. Approximately 130 family members and friend: attended the celebration.
