BRADFORD SUNDAY4»Kathleen Selby Becomes Bride of Harold Auker-man, Darke County.Bradford, June 3, — The first June wedding of the local season was solemnized Sunday evening at the Brethren church when Miss Kathleen Selby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Selby, and-Harold An-kerman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Au-kerman near Greenville were united in holy matrimony. The Reverend G. E. Weaver read the double ring ceremony at 8:30 o'clock, before an altar of garden flowers and candles.Miss Irene Wick played a selection of pre-nuptial music. Miss Geneva Bowman sang I Love you Truly and Miss Edna Marie Hoover played a violin solo. Miss Iris Hel-man sang “At Dawning.* The bride, preceded down the aisle by twelve girls of the 1941' Senior class bearing lighted candles, was lovely in a white gown with fingertip veil was attended by her twin sister, Caroline, wearing a blue gown. The bridegroom was attended by his brother. Gene, and Doris June Aukerman was flower girl. The ushers were James Stump, Wayne Davis.^ Lowell Fashner, and Jud Davis. -The bride was a member of the 154! Class of Bradford high school. The young couple will make their home near ^Greenvi lie. A' reception was held immediately after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents.
