COUP.LE .,. SPRINGS SURPISE BY% *THEIR MARRIAGE AT 9TODAY.The marriage of Miss Mary Elizabeth Kenagy, daughter of Mrs. Margaret Kenagy to^ Louis H. Groh, sonof Mr. and Mrs. Henry Groh, of Elgin, 111., took place at the home of the bride’s mother, at the coroner of Main and Wabash street at 9 o’clock this morning. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W. T. Arnold, pastor of the M. E. church and was witnessed by the mother of the bride and Mesdames Henry Drayer and John Troxell, sisters of the groom.Following the wedding Mr. and Mrs. Groh left for Elgin, 111., where theyi will spend a week with his parents.' Upon returning here they will make their home for a short time with her mother.The wedding took place so quietly that friends of the couple, who had planned a belling for them, were completely outwitted, and were unaware of the wedding until after the couplehad left the city.Mr. and Mrs.* Groh are fine young people, well known, and well liked in this city. He is a member of the Bluff-ton Implement company on North Main street, while tlie bride only a few weeks ago resigned her position as clerk at the Progress store.
