Davis—Snow WeddingCARBONEAR, May 30th. -Miss Louise Frances Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Davis, of this town, was united in marriage to William Snow, son of Mrs. Emma Butler of Clarke’s Beach, at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16th. by Rev. F. W. Bradbury, B.A.,B.D.ofClad in a white gown ylon over satin, with lace side anels, finger-tipped sleeves nd round neckline and carry-ig a bouquet of red and while 3scs, she presented a very leasing picture as she walked%up the aisle leaning on the arm of her brother James, to the strains of the Bridal chorus played by Miss Mary Parsons. Her maid of honour was her sister Margaret and the bridesmaid was Miss Gertie Green, who wore, nylon gowns with lace boleros in shades of lemon and blue respectively, with matching hats and bouquets of baby mums. The groom was attended by his cousin, Malcolm Snfow and William Davis, brother of the bride. James Davis Jr.and Evan Hefford ushered.During the signing of the register, Mrs. Lome Squires sang‘Til Walk Beside You.”The reception, attended by sixty guests, was held at Fong’s Restaurant, where Rev. Mr. Bradbury proposed the Toast to the bride, with the groom responding. The honeymoon was spent at Mount Pearl.The groom is employed at Goose Bay and the bride with Taylor’s Store.
