I*. Jenn of Hills, and Mr. Howard Saxton, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Saxton, of Oxford, were married Wednesday morning. HeVy J. Collins performed the ceremony at lt;j o’clock in the presence of relatives and friends of the couple.The wedding march jby Mendelssohn churchwas played by the church organist with violin accompaniment played by Mr. Merle Stockman,‘-and Mr. LaVerj Michel. Mr. Stockman and Mr. Michel sang, “I Am Not Worthy” and “Heart of Jesus, Hear.”Miss Kathryn Jenn, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid and Mr. Louis Jenn, brother of the bride, was best man.Th'e bride waa attired in a floorlength gown of white French lace and net of silk taffeta, with finger-tip length veil of tulle. Her only ornament was a gold chain and cross, a gift from the bridegroom. Her bouquet was of Calla lilies. The bridesmaid wore a peach net ; gown over taffeta, with matching cap of net and roses, She carried a colonial bouquet of talisman roles. ‘A memorable incidence of the occasion was that it was: the birthday anniversaries of the bridesmaid and 'best man, sister and brother of the bride. It was also the first time the double ring ceremony had been performed in St, Joseph's church.A three-course wedding dinner was served to 75 guests at the home of the bride’s parents at 12 o’clock. A beautifully decorated, three-tiered angel food cake formed the enterplece for the table.Following the dinner the couple left on a short wedding trip, after which they will be at home in Oxford. Mrs. Saxton's going away suit was tan with beige accessories.Mrs, Saxton was graduated from Hills high school,, and received her B. A. degree from Clarke College, Dubuque. She taught a rural school for several years, and was 5th and 6th grade teacher in the local shools the past year.Mr. Saxton Is a graduate of Oxford high school, and the barber college at Cedar Rapids, , and la- owner Of the Sax* •tod’'Barber shop 'hefc^*v:^ •• .
