Deep RockstationsrenamedDeep Rock gas stations in Southern Illinois are being changed to Ker%McGee.The change is part of a company program to phase out the Deep Rock name, according to Patrick Peetree, of the Kerr-McGee office in Oklahoma City.Kerr-McGee purchased the Deep Rock Oil Co. about 15 years ago, Peetree said.Since that time Kerr-McGee has been slowly changing the names of the stations in the 19 states served by Deep Rock.The official change should cot affect station operations, Peetree said.
