The alter was arranged with vases of white gladiolis, pompon daisies and altar table with Bible was highlighted with white daisies on fern.The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. James Dodge. The organist was Mrs. Margaret Rumbold, Westminster.Given in marriage by 1 parents and escorted to IMrs. George W. Owings III(Delaine Hobbs Studio)altar by her father, the bride wore a street length white dress of Saki organza. The dress of Saki was styled with high neckline and long organza sleeves. Venise lace bordered the sleeves, neckline and front of the attached coat of organza. Her short veil was of white organza attached to a crown of seed pearls. She carried a small white Bible under her bouquet of white roses and pom pon daisiesMrs. Teresa Storey, Lin-wood, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and wore a street length dress of spring green dacron knit, featuring an empire waist, short puff sleeves and green daisies on white trim. Her veil of matching green was trimmed in the center with daisies and her bouquet was of white pom pon daisiesThe best man was Paul Rodkey Jr. from near Uniontown, friend of the groom.Members of the immediate families attended the wedding and following the ceremony the couple were greeted by many friends and relatives at the Union Bridge Community Center, Union Bridge.The couple left for a short trip to Western Maryland and other points of interest. They are residing at 419 Main Street, New Windsor.The bride is a 1965 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School and is employed by Kable and Peck, Veterinarians, Westminster.
