Mm* Sophia Childs And Joe Kelley United In MarriageTie marriage of Miss Sophia Childs to Joe Kelley of the U. S. Navy was solemnized at the First Baptist church in Kingsville Wednesday evening. May 9th.The happy young couple arrived in Timpson May 11th for a visit with the lady's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Childs, who entertained with open house the evening of May lth. Pink rooe* and Quean Anne lace were arranged about the home. In the dining room Che table wa» laid with lace and centered with a lovely arrangement of Boeee. Receiving with the honoreca were: Mr. and Mrs. Ben Childs of this elty and Mr. and Mrs. Auburn Childs of Kingsville. Mrs. *J. Y. Morgan of Nacogdoches, presided at the punch bowl and was assisted hy Mrs. Arthur Horton, Mrs. Everett Johnston and Miss Rebecca Taylor, serving dainty cheese sandwiches, dives and assorted cookies.The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Childs of this community.
