Wedding at Corner BrookA quiet, but pretty wedding took place at Corner Brook on Tuesday evening at five o’clock at the Pres-bytery, when Rev. Fr. Brennan P. P. united in marriage Miss Matilda Payne of Corner Brook, and Mr. Sydney Rumbolt of the same place. The bride looked very pretty, gowned in powder-blue georgette crepe, with picture hat to match, and was attended by Mrs. Louis Rumbolt, who wore a grey costume with hat to match. Mr. Louis Rumbolt, brother of the grooacted as best man. After the ceremony the happy couple motored to#the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rumbolt, where a dainty supper was served to the immediate friends of the bride and groom.
