Wedding at Corner BrookA quiet, but pretty wedding tookplace at Corner Brook on Tuesdayevening at five o’clock at the Presbytery, when Rev. Fr. Brennan P.P. united in marriage Miss MatildaPayne of Corner Brook, and Mr.Sydney Rumbolt of the same place.The bride looked very pretty,gowned in powder-blue georgettecrepe, with picture hat to match,and was attended by Mrs. LouisRumbolt, who wore a grey costumewith hat to match. Mr. LouisRumbolt, brother of the grooacted as best man. After the ceremony the happy couple motored to#the home of Mr. and Mrs. LouisRumbolt, where a dainty supperwas served to the immediate friendsof the bride and groom.
