to MAMtY m LEfSViUE, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Stinson of Leesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lawanda Denise, to Jerry Lewis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Lewis of Grambling. The vows will be solemnized in a 4 o'clock ceremony on August 12 at First Baptist Church of Leesville. Rev. L. Williams will perform the ceremony. Miss Stinson lives in Natchitoches and is assistant manager at a local clothing store. She was graduated from Leesville High School and is a student at Northwestern State University where she is majoring in Business Administration. She is a member of Alpha Angels Auxiliary group. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lewis of Mingo Junction, Ohio, and Mrs. Evangeline Stinson of Thomaston, Georgia. The future groom is a Grambling High School graduate, and a senior majoring in eduction at Northwestern State University. He is the grandson of Mrs. Bertha Douglas of Grambling.
