Jane GallagherCUMBERLAND - Jane Brown Gallagher and Timothy Andrew Pannone were united in marriage June 10, 1989. The double ring ceremony took place at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Arch Street, with the Rev. Lee McDaniel officiating. Jane Duffus was organist and Rommel Gonzaga was soloist. The couple presented their parents with yellow roses.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James G. Brown, Cumberland. Mr. Pannone is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Pannone, also of Cumberland.Given in marriage by her parents and escorted to the altar by her father, the bride was attired in a Victorian-style gown of ivory satin. The drop-ped-waist bodice was frosted with seed pearls and sequins and featured a point d’sprite sheer yoke, Venise lace wed-ding band collar and Renaissance sleeves of satin and point d’sprite netting terminating in bridal points at the wrists. Triple pearl strands accented the deep plunge back which was highlighted with a Victorian bustle and candy box bow. A wreath of ivory baby roses and baby’s breath held a pearl sprinkled veil, which was made by the bride. The bride carried a silk bouquet of pink, mauve, deep rose and ivory roses accented with pearl sprigs, sprays of baby’s breath and pink and ivory ribbons tied in love knots. All of the wedding flowers were designed and made by the bride.Lonny Watro, Short Gap, W.Va., served as her sister s matron of honor. Beth Brown, sister of the bride, and Anne Little, both of Cumberland, and Barbara Coates, West Virginia, were bridesmaids and Katie Gallagher and Sarah Gallagher, daughters of the bride, Hollywood, were junior bridesmaids. Mary Beth Pannone registered the guests. Carrie Easton distributed the bulletins and the Misses Gallagher handed out the birdseed packets.Acting as best man was Brady Andrews, Cumberland. Ushers were Mike Pannone, nephew of the bridegroom, and Steve Shore, both of Cumberland, and Brian Newman, Greenbelt. Andrew Pannone, nephew of the bridegroom, was acolyte.A reception was held following the ceremony at the District 16 Fire Hall, Oldtown Road. The four-tier wedding cake and three-tier bridegroom’s cake were baked by Maxine Squires and featured strands of roses and ivy made by the bride. The cakes were cut and served by Cathy Pannone and Mary Ann Pannone, sisters-in-law of the bridegroom. Music was provided by Mark Shore. Rock Cioni videotaped the wedding and reception and Jack Brinkman was photographer.The bride is a graduate of Fort Hill High School and was previously employed as a unit secretary in the pediatrics department at Memorial Hospitalmarries Timothy A. He graduated number one in his class from Capitol College, Laurel, with a bachelors degree in electrical engineering technology. He is employed with Maritime Dynamics. Lexington, and an electronics engineer. Mr. Pannone served four years with the United States Coast Gaurd and is now serving as an ensign in the United States Coast Guard Reserve.The couple resides in Hollywood.A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the bridgeroom at Cas Taylor’s Hall of Fame, Cumberland. The bride was the guest of honor at two showers, one given bv her sisters and mother at the home of her sister, Lonny Watro, Short Gap, W.Va.; and the other by the pediatric staff at Memorial Hospital.Out of town guests were from West Virginia, Virginia and Maryland.
