TownsendMiss Brenda Sue Collins, Wesley Townsend Are WedBERLIN — The Buckingham Presbyterian Church here was the setting of the marriage of Miss Brenda Sue Collins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Collins of Queen Anne, and Wesley E. Townsend, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett C. Townsend of Denton and Ocean City.The Rev. Marion Topham, pastor, performed the double ring ceremony July 19 before s can-dlelighted setting at 8:30 p.m. Only the immediate families and friends were present.The bride wore a frock of white nylon over taffeta styled with a fitted bodice, cummerbund waistline and a full sweepskirt. Her short Chantilly lace jacket featured a scalloped bottom and three - quarter length sleeves. A circular shoulder lengthveil of imported English illusion was attached to a crown of interlaced horsehair and pearls.They were attended by Miss Barbara Townsend and Thomas Bennett.Both are graduates of North Caroline High School. The bride-gruum is a student at Goldey Beacom School of Business, Wilmington, and this summer is associated with his father at the North Winds Motel. Ocean City. They will make their home in Ocean Citv.
