H. H. LaFollette read the double-ring ceremony before an altar decorated with baskets of white gladioli and hydrangea flanked by white candles in tall candelabra.Preceding the ceremony, MissEloise Mitchell played appropriatewedding music. The traditionalwedding marches and DeBussy’s“Clair de Lane,” were played by Miss Mitchell during the ceremony, and Miss Doris Freemanand “Be-JohnsonVows Are ReadElizabeth M. Lawson, 602 Northsang I Love Thee”cause.’The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina -length gown of ice blue taffeta with a white lace overskirt.Her only jewelry was a single strand of pearls.She carried a bridal bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis.Matron or honor was Mrs. Otis Holder of Buterfield, sister ofthe bride.She wore an afternoon dress of yellow linen with white accessories and a corsage of white carnations,man for the groom was his brother, John Hutchings, and ushers were Max Hutchings, brother of the groom, and Lee F, Harris.The bride’s mother wore a black and white sheer print dress with a white carnation corsage.Tlie mother of the groom wore a navy blue and white dress witha corsage of white carnations.Immediately following the cerc-High, and Charles L.
