Lorna Bain WedsHartneyMr. and Mrs. William Bain, of route 2, 10wa City, are announcing the marriage of their daughter, Lorna Rose to Mr. William Hartney, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hartney, Sr., of Chicago, 111.The wedding took place, at 7:30 Wednesday evening at the Presbyterian aprsonage at Iowa City, Rev. Ilion Jones officiating at the single ring ceremony.s Attending the couple were Mr, and Mrs, Denver Parrish of Iowa City.Mrs. Hartney was attired in a navy blue, wool suit with white accessories and wore a corsage of gardenias. She also wore a gold bracelet worn by her grandmother, Mrs. George Yenter, of Oxford, 58 years ago, at her wedding. Her attendant wore a dusty rose street length dress with white accessories and her flowers were also gardenias.Mrs, Hartney is a graduate of Uni-, versity, high school in Iowa . City and has been employed at'the Vega Air-oraft company in Burbank, California.Mr. Hartney is a graduate of Mt. Carmel high school and Marquette business college in Chicago, and is now a staff sergeant of the MarineAir Corps*After the ceremony the bride's ■ parents entertained 15 guests at a reception at the Jefferson hotel. .Following a wedding trip through several eastern, states the couple will reside in Chicago, where he w|ll be stationed.
