Miller, west ’ of Orr\ille when their daughter, Lou-, \ ~elTa~BarbaraTbeearne~the bride of-MiVr' Harold Thut. son of Mr. and Mrs. jj Noah Thut, of West Liberty. ijThe wedding ceremony was read 5 at 6:30 in the evening by the Rev. | ^ John D. Miller of Louisville, uncle j of the bride, before an improvised al- \ tar of garden flowers on a back- ; ground of hills of snow vine. Before the wedding: a half. hour’s recital of ( piano and vocal numbers were given . by Miss Marie Gerig of Sinithyille, ‘ j and by John Thut. Chicago, 111., who 1 is the brother of the bridegroom. Mr. J Thut also sang several selections, immediately following the ceremony. ; JPreceding Miss Miller to the altar were James Steiner and Helen Thut,; ^ nephew and niece of the bride and bridegroom respectively. Petite Miss * Thut was dressed, in lavender organ- , dy and both she and her equally 'small companion carried baskets, of roses. (Miss Amelia Thut. . sister of “the;, bridegroom who attended Miss Miller j* as bridesmaid was . charmingly; gowned in green organdy and carried | a bouquet of yellow rosebuds. j.The bride was a lovely vision in:., oh dal' ' satin and she were a veil nf j tulle, fashioned with a small tiara j ^ and ending'at the’ fingertips. She j ■carried--a beautiful bouquet of pinklj rosebuds, baby breath and fern. Leon-1 s ard Miller, her brother, served Mr. j j Thut as -best man. 17A three course dinner was served j j to 50 guests following the ceremony {^ on the lawn of the Miller home. A i j large wedding cake in the form of a 1 horse shoe was an attractive center-: piece for the main table while the re-! mainder of the guests- were seated at small tables. . jMr. and Mrs. Thut left later in the ! J evening for a motor trip up the St. . Lawrence 'River. For traveling Mrs. ! Thut chose a suit of navy blue with gray accessories. Upon their return | to this city they will not take up permanent residence but this fall they; will go to Columbus, where Mr. Thut is enrolled in Ohio State University.-.Guests, for the wedding and dinner ( included persons . from.
