Albert QuiveyBrideWill Reside In DoverLAfter a honeymoon at Niagara i Falls, Albert Quivey and his bride will reside in Dover at 320 E. 11th St. She is the former Joanne Mizer.The couple was married Sunday, July 14, in St. John’s E. R. Church, Strasburg, with the Rev. j Donald Klohr as officiant. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mizer of RD 1, Strasburg, and was given in marriage by her father. Mrs. Russell Mays of RD 1, Strasburg, and William Quivey of RD 1, Athens, Ohio, are the bridegroom’s parents.A ballerina - length gown of nylon net over satin was worn by the bride. Its bouffant skirt featured a horizontal strip of Alencon lace and lace - flower embroidery. An unusual lace bib effect on the boddice of the gown terminated in a Sabrina neckline and cap sleeves.The bride’s fingertip - length veil of imported illusion and Alencon lace was caught to a cap which featured pearl banding and pearl clusters on each side. Elbow- j length lace mitts completed her ensemble and she carried a white Bi-' ble, a gift from the bridegroom, topped with an orchid and stepha-notis.Miss Orpha Powell of RD 2. Dover, was maid of honor and Robert Parker of RD 1, Strasburg, the bridegroom’s cousin, served as best man. Ushers were Sharon Mizer, the bride’s brother, and Thomas i Parker, a cousin of the bridegroom, both of RD 1, Strasburg.Miss Powell was attired in a ballerina - length gowm of yellow ny- j Ion chiffon over yellow’ taffeta which featured a tiered skirt. Her bouquet was of orchid carnations and stephanotis. Her white hat wasa gift from the bride and her other accessories were also white.The bride’s mother, Mrs. Mizer, wore a dress of blue nylon chiffon over blue taffeta. Her accessories were w'hite and white carnations formed her corsage. Mrs. Mays, mother of the bridegroom, used white accessories with her frock of lavender nylon chiffon over matching taffeta. She, too, had a white carnation corsage.Preceding the exchange of vows, Mrs. Florence Park of Strasburg, organist, played the following numbers: Prayer, Hymn to the Evening Star, Panis Angelicus, O Perfect Love and the traditional wedding marches.The double ring ceremony was read at 2 o’clock before an altar decorated with arrangements of white gladioli, carnations and pompons.Immediately after the exchange of vows, a reception was held in the church social hall with Mrs. William Whitman, Mrs. Thomas Mizer and Miss Ellen Mizer, all cousins of the bride, presiding.Before leaving on the wedding trip, the bride changed to a yellow and brown print taffeta sheath dress. A beige duster and white accessories completed her ensemble and at her shoulder was the orchid from her bouquet.A graduate of Strasburg High, the bride was also graduated by Canton Beauty School and has been employed as a beautician at Jaf-fe’s Beauty Salon in New Philadelphia. She will now work at the Plaza Beauty Salon in Massillon. The bridegroom is an alumnus of Albany High and is an employe of Robinson Clay Products in Parral.
