Boyd officiating.The bride is the daughter of Samuel M. Hughes of New Bern and JoAnne Everitt Hughes of Raleigh and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Everitt of Durham.The bridegroom is the son ofBetsy Bray of Goldsboro and the late Tommy W. Bray and grpndson of Hilma Croom of Goldsboro.Nuptial music was presented by organist Vance HarperJones.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a tea-length ivory gown of silk organza featuring a dropped-waist lace bodice, V-neckline, deep V-back and short poufed sleeves accented with pearls. Her chapcl-length veil of ivory illusion, highlighted with pearls, fell from a headband of pearls and sequins and she carried a cascade bouquet of sterling lilies, tiffany roses, alstroemeria and statke.Sandra Hughes Benton of Raleigh was her sister’s matron of honor.Fred Frank Bray of Greensboro was best man. Ushers were David Ward of Goldsboro, Charles Leto of Cary, Paul Baddour of Apex and Gary Johnson of Atlantic Beach.The reception was hosted by the bridal couple at the Ramada Inn Waterfront Marina.Assisting were Rosalie Baker Fuller, Cindy Baker Weeks and Susan Hardee.The bridal couple left for a honeymoon to Florida.The bride is a graduate of East Carolina University, Greenville and is a teacher with the New Bern-Craven County school system.The bridegroom is a graduate of East Carolina University and is a sales representative with Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company, Greenville.The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom’s mother at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina.The bridal couple will reside in Greenville. ■*r—
