Beach.Havens-FiodeenA beautiful out-of-doors wedding ceremony was performed at the home of Mr. Havens of Tustin, at 4/30 o'* clock yesterday, when Louis Alfonso Havens, of Bishop, Cal., and Miss Esther Marie Flodeen, of Wahoo, Nebraska, pledged their mutual love.The graceful branches of the large palms immediately in iront of the house served as a canopy over the bridal couple, while a large screen, from which hung asparagus fern, secluded the guests from the street. The bride was dressed in white batiste and carried a boquet of carnations and maiden hair ferns.The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. F. Roadhouse of the First Christian church of Santa Ana. The Lohengrin bridal chorus was played by Miss Ruth Lucas. iAfter the ceremony, refreshments were served. The waiting girls were Misses Zaidee Brown, Helen Welles, Doris Welles and Ruth Lucas. iThe happy couple leave today for Bishop, California, where they will make their home.new applications for membership.A ways and means committee was appointed to make arrangements for an entertainment to be given in the near future.After the business session closed, the large company of members and visitors were invited to the banquet hall, where refreshments were served by Mrs. Anna ElHott and her assistants.School of Instruction jIThe Rebekalis of District No. 50 had arranged for a school of instruc-1 tion to be held at Huntington Beach on Aug. t, hut have been compelled• jto change the date to Aug. 32.
