Schmit-Bart aVows Said InChurch RiteARTESIAN — Mr. and Mrs.Alien F. Schmit will be at home in Brookings this fall where Schmit will be a junior at South Dakota State University.The couple was married June 30 in St. Charles Catholic j Church with the Rev. Philip Russo officiating at the 4 p.m. i ceremony. Music was furnished by Jane and Danny Muller and Echo Banks, all of Fedora.The bride is the former Lyn-ette Rae Barta, daughter of Mr. j and Mrs. Emmit Barta and par-! ents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Francis Schmit. All are from Artesian.Connie Grassel, Huron, was the bride’s personal attendant.; Mrs. Myron Olmsted, Tok iAlaska, served as matron ofhonor. Bridesmaids were D i -anne Mitchell, Artesian, Mrs. j Alan Thomas, Anchorage, Alas-1 ka, sister of the bride. JoAnn Olmsted, niece of the bride, was flower girl.Kevin Schmit was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Douglas Morris and Lynn Barta. Bobby Schmit, brother of the groom, was ring bearer. Ushers were the bride’s broth-ers, LaVern Barta, Huron, and I Roger Barta, Madison. Bill Ein-; ing, Huron, cousin of the bride, rang the bell.A reception and wedding dance was held in the Legion!
