The father of the bride, the Rev. E. M. Duffey officiated at the ceremony which took place after the regular Sunday morning services in the Presbyterian Church in Seaman.The bridegroom, the son of H. G. Oliphant of Warren, had been living with his aunt here. Mrs. Effie Oliphant, 619 Windsor St. He is employed by his uncle'at the J. E. Oliphant Co.The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. eV M. Duffey of Seaman. Attending the coupl^ were the brother ofttie bride, William Duffey of Seaman and the sister of the bridegroom, Mrs. Charles Preyer of Fairmount, W. Va.The bride is an instructor of English and Spanish at Harding. She has been there for the last*five years.After the ceremony, a. small reception was given for the couple at the home of the bride’s parents. They later left on a motor trip through Michigan.
