ill MISS KASPER WED TO MR. DUFFYNuptials Monday in St, WenceslausSt. WenceslaUs church wad the scene Monday morning of the nine o’clock wedding or Miss Joyce Ann Kasper to Mr. Charles Dean Duffy. The Rev* WtNeuzil performed the double-ring: ceremony in the presence of 200 guests.Mias Kasper is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs, John S. Kasper, 106 Reno street. Mr. Duffy's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe P. Duffy, 1324 ’Muscatine avenue.Baskets of gladiolus and fern decorated the altar. Mrs. Phil ESnglert was organist* and Mr. Robert Bott sang “Salve Regina/’ *Aw Verum” and U1 Need Thee. Gracious Jesus/'Given in marriage by her father.the bride was gown^l in starchedmarquisette with tiers of scalloped lace on the full skirt and edging the train. The bodice was of lace over satin, and the long full sleeves were lace-trimmed. She ^wore a triple strand of pearls, gift of Hie bridegroom*From a heart-shaped headdress fell a fingertip veil. Bridal flowers were white Carnations and gladioli centered with an orchid and tied with white satin.AttendantsMaid of honor was Mi$s Dolores Miltner of Solon. Her orchid taffeta gown was styled with bustle back and cap sleeves, below which She wore matching gauntlets. She wore a wreath ojC matching flowers in her hair, and carried a colonial bouquet centered with a gardenia and tied with orchid and yellow streamers.Bridesmaid was Miss Jean Kasper, sister of the bride, Her yellow taffeta gown matched that of the maid of honor in style, and she carried a colonial bouquet.Miss Terre Lynne Aicher, cousin of the bride, was flower gjrL She was dressed like the bride, and wore a wreath of white daisies in her hair. Her tiny colonial bouquet was tied with multi-colored streamers.i Ail three attendants • wore bracelets, gifts of the bride,Mrs. Kasper chose a dress of black and white sheer with-*black accessories. Mrs. Dtiffy wore black satin with black accessories, Both chose camellia corsages, Serving as best man was Mr. Don Seydel. Ushers were Mr. Emery Duffy, brother of the bridegroom and Mr. Robert Shrader, cousin of tile bride. Reception For a reception in the Jefferson hotel at S p. m., gladioli in the bride*s Colors were used. After a dance in the Community building, the couple left on a brief wedding trip.For traveling, Mrs. luffy wore a dress of aqua sheer with matching accessories. - Mr. and Mrs. Duffy will be at home in Iowa City after August 1*Both Mr. and Mrs. Duffy are graduates of City High school.
