Last Thursday night the team composed of Cecil Brown. Lily Dougherty, Alma Chapman, Laurie Jones, Cecil Hyde and Hilda Henderson in an easy victory defeated the St. Aidan's entry. To quote the words of the Rev. R. B. English of St. Aidan’a Church in presenting the trophy to Cecil Brown it was declared to be a great lesson in humility, but a victory well earned. The game originally planned for play at St. Clements Church Courts, called on account of rain, with St. Aidan's leading in the men's double* and Weston leading in the other events.
