Mr. J. II. Hicklin paid a visit to tin* Daily Silver Belt office this morning with a Gila Monster approximately -0 inches in length. The Monster was caught on Tinhorn Gulch near Lost Gulch by Mr. Hick-lin's son, Bryan Hicklin. The reptile, according to Mr. Hicklin “blowed a little” when captured, but did not put up a hard tight. Young Hicklin finally succeeded in snaring him through the use of a stick and the loop of a string.Mr. Hicklin says that the Minster is the largest and longest that he lias ever seen. About twenty years ago near Tucson he succeeded in capturing one about an inch shorter than this one.
