Wedding announcedRIVERSIDE —Ann M. Swenka, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Swenka, was married to Lance L. Logan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest L. Logan, Cedar Rapids, during a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday. The Rev. W.F. Boeckman officiated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mrs. Leslie Logan, Ml. Pleasant, is the bridegroom’s grandmother.Honor attendants for the bridal couple were Lois Boock and Kirk Findley of Cedar Rapids. Capt. Ronald Swenka and Kelly Logan, also of Cedar Rapids, brothers of the bridal couple, seated guests.For her wedding, the bride chose a gown of peau de soie accented with re-embroidered lace at the standup neckline, bibbed empire bodice and Juliet sleeves. Her chapel-length mantilla was caught to a lace Juliet cap and she carried a cascade arrangement of yellow mums and orange daisies.Miss Boock wore a gown of yellow polyester with yellow’ and orange flowered inserts styled with a standup collar, fitted waistline and puff sleeves.Following the ceremony, a reception for 150 guests was given in the church social rooms.The couple will reside in Ames where the bridegroom, a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, will attend Iowa State university this fall. He has attended the U.S. air force academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kirkwood Community college. The bride has been employed by Breese Co. in Iowa City.
