MRS. RUSSELL T. KELLEY Miss Janet Lynn Smith and Russell T. Kelley exchanged wedding vows at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, in the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, Rev. Dan Hubbell officiated for the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer A. Smith and the granddaughter of Mrs. R. T. Dickey and the late Dr. Dickey, all of Winnsboro. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland R. Kelley of Stamford. Arrangements of white gladiolas and majestic daisies mixed with emerald greenery enhanced the altar. Palms and spiral candelabra with white tapers completed the setting, Galt Graydon escorted the mother of the bridegroom to her pew and Gary Peterson es corted the mother of the bride. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a formal length gown of candlelight silk organza. The empire bodice and wedding ring neckline of English net were enhanced with pearls accented alencon lace. The softly gathered skirt with motifs of lace and pearls ex tended to a chapel length train. Her chapel length mantilla veil was of alencon lace, also. She carried a nosegay of white roses sprinkled with baby’s breath. Miss Sharon Ann Smith of Houston, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Brides maids were Miss Mary White of Galveston, Miss Becky Foster of Atlanta, Georgia, Kathy Kil gore of New Orleans, La., and Miss Byrna Bigby of Austin. Bridesmatron was Mrs. John Schofield of Austin. The attendants wore full length gowns of rose petal crepe. The empire bodices were of nottingham lace with a lace ruffle outlining the square necklines and short puffed sleeves. A lie sash softly ac cented the waistlines. Each carried a nosegay of pink and white rosebuds sprinkled with baby’s breath. Tommy Townsend of Austin was best man. Groomsmen were Bill Zapalac, Harrison Cole and Hilry S. Stroup, all of Austin; Nathan R. Brandon, Houston; and Richard R. Lee, Dallas. Ushers were Gail Gray don, Dallas; Gary Peterson, Scott Palmer, Randy Wilson, Bob Kelley, Jim Bertleson, and Danny Cox, all of Austin. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the home of Mr. and M. D. Carlock, uncle and aunt of the bride. The bride’s table was covered with a white cloth and held the four-tiered white wedding cake embellished with pink roses. The centerpiece was an arrangement of pink roses and white carnations in a silver candelabra. The bridegroom’s table was covered with a burgundy cloth. The chocolate cake was de corated with fruit. Punch was served at both tables, also. Members of the house party were Mrs. Danny Mangum, cousin of the bride; Miss Nancy Weber, Mrs. Lee Ofner, Bob Williams and Mrs. Michael Robus, all of Dallas; Miss Jen nifer Jackson, Quitman; Mrs. Bill Dial, Clarksville; Mrs. Randy Wilson, Miss Colleen Dilworth, Miss Carol Smith; and Mrs. Tommy Townsend, all of Austin; and Miss Carley Crad dock. Miss Debbie Rickey of Waco, cousin of the bride, presided at the guest registery. Rive bags were distributed by Dania Mangum and Nancy Rhea Carlock, Commerce, and Christy Muse, Mineral Wells, cousin of the bride, and Miss Colleen Swann, Commerce, Karen Swann, Sulphur Springs, and Christy Jones, Wirinsboro. For traveling, the bride wore a green and white dacron suit with green accessories and a white corsage. The bide received her bachelor of business ad ministration degree from the University of Texas in Austin with majors in marketing and business education. She was a member of Angel Flight, Pi Omega Pi and Delta Delta Del ta, which she served as treasur er. The bridegroom received his bachelor of business ad ministration degree from the University of Texas in Austin with a major in finance and was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Following a trip to Hawaii, the couple will make their home at 6855 Highway 290 East in Austin. REHEARSAL DINNER Mr. and Mrs. Roland R. Kel ley were hosts for a rehearsal dinner at 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, in the Trade Winn dining room. Arrangements of white gladiolas, carnations and pom pom mums decorated the tables. The couple presented gifts to their attendants at this time.
