Mr. and Mrs. Donald Alexander, Rte. 4, are announcing the marriage of their daughter, Diane, to Richard Berghammer of Green Bay He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Berghammer of Rte. 3, Tomahawk. July 3 was the date chosen by the young couple for the 5 p.m. service in First Congregational Church in Rhinelander. The Rev. David M. Boxrud officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride was attired in a white street length dress, which she had fashioned. Of sheer nylon with an overlay of nylon lace, it featured a V-neck and full-length lace sleeves. Her corsage was made up of yellow pompons. As bridesmaid, Miss Jackie Lukarich wore a beige bonded knit, street-length dress and had a corsage of white pompons. William Barr of Tomahawk was his friend's beat man. The bride is a 1970 graduate of Rhinelander High School and presently is a senior at Wisconsin College of Dystrophy Carnival Scheduled Tuesday Cosmetology in Green Bay. The bridegroom graduated in 198 from Tomahawk High School, served four years with the U.S. Navy, including one year of duty in Vietnam. A lawn reception for friends and relatives was held at the home of the bride’s parents following the service. The newlyweds are now at home at 812 Crooks St., Green Bay. A neighborhood carnival against dystrophy will be held at $46 Pines St. Tuesday from 10 am. to 4 p.m. In case of rain, the event will be conducted the following day. Tim Bruneau, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dante Bruneau, will be the ring-master, assisted by Bruce McFee, Brenda Bruneau, Paul Erlitz, Darlene Cravecz and Terry Conn. The carnival will feature such games as sponge toss, bowling on the green, marble shoot, penny drop and many others. There also will be a book sale, a very scarcy spook house, a fortune teller and prizes, with snacks for sale.
