Snelson August 29The Manti Temple will be the setting for the wedding of Miss Susan Sumsion and Stephen M. Snelson, the date being set for August 29. A wedding reception the evening of August 31 will honor the newlyweds in Kolob Stake House.The charming bride-elect is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs George Ray Sumsion of Springville and the groom-to-be is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Snelson. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Willard Pierce of Provo.A graduate of Springville Seminary and Springville High School, Miss Sumsion was active in Steno, Pep and Thespian Club afafirs.Mr. Snelson graduated from Provo High and LDS Seminary and was prominent in wrestling in high school. He is a sophomore at BYU. where he was voted the most outstanding ROTC cadet in his freshman year. He is presently a pilot at the Provo Airport and a self-defense instructor with the Provo Police Force.They plan to make their home in Provo.Eudora Jensen, who passed away here in May.Mrs. Jensen is also a sister of Wayne Gull of Springville.Funeral services for the three victims are being held today at 11 a.m., Walker Mortuary in Spanish Fork, where Mr. and Mrs. Jensen formerly lived.Medicare topic at club meetDr Robert H. Nightingale will be the speaker at Kiwanis this evening at 7 p.m. at the Kiwanis Fireplace. He will discuss the current medicare program.
